Update from Rhonda & Ezra
The last few months have been an important season for Rhonda and me as we continue more than 30 years of serving with Youth With A Mission.
Since June, we have been in a season of rest, reflection, ministry, reconnecting with people, and preparing for what we believe God has for us next.

Dear Friends & Supporters,
Despite the attack, we are doing well...
If you didn't hear about Shiv getting attacked, don't worry, I'm ok! Go to our blog to read the update from back in February. It was a traumatic experience, but God showed us how he is always protecting and providing for us, even in the darkest moments. I am still recovering, I still have headaches some days and weakness in the arm where I was stabbed, but I'm getting stronger every day. We are going to Australia for just over 3 weeks in April, so we are confident this will provide us with the rest and recuperation which we both very much need.
Carey Theological College
Welcome to the inaugural edition of The Cobbler’s Bench, Carey’s newsletter and your inside look at life, learning, and ministry at Carey Theological College and student residence at UBC. The name “Cobbler’s Bench” draws from the story of William Carey, who studied Scripture and geography at his cobbler’s workbench—preparing, in ordinary faithfulness, for an extraordinary gospel mission.
Gull Lake
Fall has quickly descended on us like the pinecones the squirrels keep chucking out of the trees. Everyone has 17 coats strewn across the campus, our Maintenance Manager Shawn can’t get enough of his pumpkin spice lattes, and we are letting our beards grow a tad longer in preparation for the season we shall not name.

Fall is such a beautiful time of year! The beautifully radiant
colours and the feel of the cool crisp air upon one’s face.
Living in Alberta is a true treasure blessed with different
seasons that bring about change accented with a distinct
beauty in each one. This brings to mind Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
